Supply Bond

Our exclusive supply bond terms are the following: “Should we run out of stock of a certain product for more than 48 hours, the full order of that product will be complimentary.”(*)


These supply bond terms are based on objective facts:


The manufacturing plant of “Schietto ice-creams” has a productive capacity of 8,000,000 litres of high-quality ice-creams, which are properly tested. Moreover, the total output is manufactured according to the conventions that our own laboratory has established, which are supported by an external auditing firm.

So as to produce ice-creams, our factory is equipped with a pasteurization and homogenization system, whose capacity is of 2,400 litres per hour. Preparations cool down inside cooled flat containers that have a capacity of 12,000 litres. After this cooling process, these preparations are processed by manufacturing machines that have a production capacity of 5,000 litres per hour.


Our equipment, which comes from Italy, is state-of-the-art.

 

Finished products are labelled with the pertinent barcode, which guarantees the “traceability” of the product from the moment our company has received the raw materials to the moment when the retail client consumes our product.

Moreover, we are equipped with a fast-freezing tunnel in order to freeze our manufactured products in accordance with the highest requirements regarding health and food safety.


Food Engineer Hugo Hortazo, Professional License Nro. 42,980, is our Technical Manager. He supervises all the manufacturing processes that take place in Helados Schietto´s production plant. Besides, all the members of our staff are continuously provided with scheduled trainings regarding the implementation and the follow-up of the quality systems, including Buenas Prácticas de la Manufactura (Good Manufacturing Practices; BPM, for its acronym in Spanish) and HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).


The quality management system of Helados Schieto´s production plant has received ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000 FSSC Certification (Food Safety System Certification).
