These supply bond terms are based on objective facts:


The manufacturing plant of “Schietto ice-creams” has a productive capacity of 8,000,000 litres of high-quality ice-creams, which are properly tested. Moreover, the total output is manufactured according to the conventions that our own laboratory has established, which are supported by an external auditing firm.

So as to produce ice-creams, our factory is equipped with a pasteurization and homogenization system, whose capacity is of 2,400 litres per hour. Preparations cool down inside cooled flat containers that have a capacity of 12,000 litres. After this cooling process, these preparations are processed by manufacturing machines that have a production capacity of 5,000 litres per hour.


Our equipment, which comes from Italy, is state-of-the-art.

 

Finished products are labelled with the pertinent barcode, which guarantees the “traceability” of the product from the moment our company has received the raw materials to the moment when the retail client consumes our product.

Moreover, we are equipped with a fast-freezing tunnel in order to freeze our manufactured products in accordance with the highest requirements regarding health and food safety.


Food Engineer Hugo Hortazo, Professional License Nro. 42,980, is our Technical Manager. He supervises all the manufacturing processes that take place in Helados Schietto´s production plant. Besides, all the members of our staff are continuously provided with scheduled trainings regarding the implementation and the follow-up of the quality systems, including Buenas Prácticas de la Manufactura (Good Manufacturing Practices; BPM, for its acronym in Spanish) and HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points).


The quality management system of Helados Schieto´s production plant has received ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 22000 FSSC Certification (Food Safety System Certification).

Our plant has a cooling capacity of 2,500 cubic metres, which entails a storage capacity of more than 1,500 pallets. Besides, we hold a permanent stock of more than 1,000,000 litres of finished products ready to be shipped.

We deliver our products to all around the country through our own distribution system. All of our transportation trucks are equipped with an on-online follow-up system of the specified route and of the temperature inside the box van from the moment the truck departs from the plant to the moment the product is delivered to the client.

 

Our distribution lines are mainly divided into four branches. Qualified staff is in charge of the service assistance in each of these branches:

*Ice-cream parlours

*Gastronomy

*Catering


*Third-party distributors

We have a distribution network that is composed of nine vehicles authorized to deliver goods inside and outside the country.

 

These vehicles are equipped with a satellite tagging, with a radio communication system and with cooling machines.


Thus, we guarantee a quick and efficient service not only in the Province and in the City of Buenos Aires, but also in all the other Argentine provinces and in the bordering countries.


We operate an online-system that enables us to receive new orders and to monitor the existing ones. This allows us to exert a major control, to reduce the number of mistakes that may occur in the administrative area and to optimize the available resources. Thus, we are able to provide a valuable service, according to the market needs, at a reasonable price.
